Soil
The formation of the French Prealps and the Ice Age. Very heterogeneous chaotic soil. However, two types of soils can be distinguished: firstly a clay and limestone soil (white clay, mountain scree) and secondly a silica and limestone molasse (moraine deposits). The latter is the soil of choice for this grape variety and gives this wine its distinguishing organoleptic characteristics.
Grape variety
100% Chardonnay. Age of the vines: approximately 45 years.
Vinification
After a rigorous selection during harvesting, this wine receives all the care a modern cellar can give it in terms of temperature control followed by ageing on lees (batonnage) to give it a more complex aromatic note and a good structure. We carry out all the wine making, ageing and bottling ourselves.
